Enfances 2/32 Foundation France-Colombia, with legal status granted by the Ministry of Health, Family Welfare Institute - Regional Risaralda, according to Resolution No. 194 of April 12, 2002, year in which officially begins its work and programs the guarantee of the rights of children in the city of Pereira. It was a time of great effort and solidarity in which many people have been with us, learn with us, helping us to persist and maintain fixed horizon that gives meaning to our achievements.

Enfances 2/32 Foundation France-Colombia, is a non-profit institution, with the primary purpose of ensuring, promoting and disseminating the Rights of the Child, as were contained in the International Convention on Children's Rights and adopted by General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1989 and endorsed in the Constitution of Colombia.

Our work is the promotion and protection of homeless children and high-risk status through nutrition programs, health, education, culture, and preparation for life in all its aspects.

Our name refers to articles 2 and 32 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child as well:

ARTICLE 2. States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that the child is protected against all forms of discrimination or punishment on the basis of the status, activities, expressed opinions, or beliefs of their parents, legal guardians, or family members.

ARTICLE 32. States Parties recognize the right of children to be protected from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be hazardous or to interfere with their education, or to be harmful to their health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social.

For our work with city schools and sectors highly vulnerable children have received low-income, mostly children of single mothers, displaced and at risk, those with problems: health, nutrition, visual, auditory, school delays, abuse, child labor and no opportunity to increase their cultural heritage, and with it, the inability to achieve physical, intellectual, ethical and spiritual.

With this background, the Foundation began its activities in 2002 with 12 children implementing a program to fully guarantee their rights with health, protection, participation and development, without excluding the family environment, but rather, linking to all their families and community. To date, the Foundation directly caters to 230 children and 20 mothers, in a comprehensive training program, aimed at creating the conditions for them to reach healthy and happy development. In this sense we have worked to deploy the resources for mothers dimensioned social role and become shapers of wellbeing for the whole family.

With kids, girls, families and the surrounding communities develops a comprehensive care program that has its core in the development of social and aesthetic sensibility, from the visual arts, music, literature, civility and the recovery of historical memory.
